Auto insurer asks for OK to raise rates
If you're covered through the state's auto insurer of last resort, you may see your premiums climb soon. Thousands of drivers insured through the Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association could see their rates increase by a statewide average of 2.7 percent if the state approves.
